Our Story

GB Walsh is a high quality specialist contractor installing large format and extra large format porcelain panels. We pride ourselves at being recommended by some of London’s finest tile showrooms, many of which we have fitted their large format porcelain displays. We are expert installers of Porcel-thin TM , Laminam, Grespania Coverlam, Ariostea, Florim Magnum, Iris FMG and Fiandre porcelain panels, slabs and tiles. We have worked on some of the Capital’s finest homes and commercial projects.

We have a small highly skilled and trained workforce who have been with us for many years, they have been selected for the standard of their work and attention to detail. Gary Walsh is the team leader and is known throughout the tile industry for his high quality work and technical knowledge. Gary is City in Guilds NVQ level 3 qualified wall and floor tiling and regularly holds training seminars for the installation of large format panels. Our goal is to achieve a high class finish which exceeds our customers expectations, on time and within budget.

New advances in porcelain tile production have resulted in some fantastic new products coming into the market place. GB Walsh are at the forefront of the specification and installation of these new materials and have the experience of fitting thousands of square metres of these types of materials over the past 8 years. The benefits of these materials include reduced installation weight, allowing large panels to be installed on to plastered walls, where as traditional porcelain tiles would need expensive preparation work to the substrate. Being thinner and lighter than traditional tiles transport costs are lower and less raw materials are used, therefore these tiles have a lower carbon footprint than conventional porcelain tiles.
